Softcare recently welcomed a technical delegation comprising representatives from the Senegalese Association for Standardization (ASN), the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and the Swedish Institute for Standards (SIS) to its factory in Senegal for discussions on local hygiene product manufacturing capabilities, technical processes, and industry needs. The visit was conducted as part of the project, “Strengthening the Application of and Compliance with International Standards for Menstrual Hygiene Products — Stakeholder Needs Assessment.” The initiative aims to better understand the capabilities, needs, and constraints of different stakeholders across Senegal’s hygiene products value chain, while contributing to the continued strengthening of the country’s National Quality Infrastructure (NQI).
